তবুও তোমার কাছে আমি যেন, যাচ্ছেতাই।


তোমার সঙ্গে আমার একবার দেখা হবার কথা ছিল

তারিখ-সময়-লোকেশন তোমারই ঠিক করা

রাতে যখন তুমি জানালে আমাদের দেখা হবে

সারারাত ঘুমাতে পারিনি, বিছানায় এপাশ ওপাশ নড়া।


খুব ইচ্ছে, প্রথম দেখায় তোমাকে একটা উপহার দিবো

ফুল না বই? নাকি একটা লাল শাড়ি? 

সাত সকালে কোথায়ও দোকান খোলা থাকে না

তবুও ভোরের আলো আগেই উঠে পড়ি।


সারারাত না ঘুমিয়ে খুব ভোরে 

মেইন রোডে দাড়িয়েছি 

দোকান খোলার অপেক্ষায়।

কি অবাক!  একটা দোকানই খুলেছিল

রঙ্গিন মাছের দোকান

ওই দিন ভোর সাড়ে ছয় টায়।


দোকানের সামনে দাড়িয়ে থাকায়

দোকানি আমাকে বললো, কিছু নিবেন?

বললাম, প্রিয়তমার জন্য খুজছি বই অথবা জামা।

দোকানি বললো এখনতো মর্ডানযুগ

আপনি জারসহ দুইটা রঙ্গিন মাছ নিন

একটা মাছ আপনি, আরেকটা আপনার প্রিয়তমা।


এই বলে দোকানি জারসহ দুইটা গোল্ড ফিশ

ধরিয়ে দিলো আমাকে।

গোল্ডফিশ দুটো এতো চঞ্চল! এতো চমৎকার!

নেশা লাগলো তামাকে।


কায়দা করে জারসহ মাছ দুটো নিয়ে 

পৌছালাম তোমার স্কুলের সামনে

কল দিতেই জানালে তুমি

হাতে অনেক কাজ। দেখা হবে অন্য কোনোখানে।


আমি বললাম তোমাকে গিফট দিতে চাই

তোমার জন্য সুন্দর দুটো মাছ আছে।

হুট করে বলে দিলে তুমি, ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যাও

অথবা রেখে যাও স্কুলের গার্ডের কাছে।


মাথা নিচু করে জারসহ মাছ রেখে এসেছি স্কুলে

তোমার সঙ্গে আজও আমার দেখা হয়নি।

তুমি সম্ভবত গোল্ডফিশের প্রেমে পড়েছিলে।


অনেক পরে জেনেছি, গোল্ডফিশ 

কিছু মনে রাখতে পারে না,

এর আগে ‘১০০০ টাকার লাল নোট বাতিল করার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংক’,  এমন তথ্য প্রচার করেছে বেসরকারি একটি টেলিভিশন। বিষয়টি সম্পূর্ণ ‘ভুয়া’ ও ‘মিথ্যা’ বলে জানিয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংক।
